Design boutique hotel in the Westallgau

Nine rooms and suites give you a retreat where quiet needs no announcement. All around, the nature of the pre-Alpine foothills.
Far from mass tourism. Yet close to Lake Constance, the Bregenzerwald, and Switzerland.
A break that doesn't need to prove anything to anyone. Unobtrusive. And personal in the best sense.
Who we are.

“The stunning view of fresh snow in the mountains, and the fireplace right by our bedside! … Truly the highlight of our honeymoon.”

The House
Two suites. Six junior suites. One double room. Nine suites facing four directions. Each different. Each with its own character.
Lovingly arranged. Thoughtfully staged. With a passion for design. And an eye for detail.
High, light-filled rooms. Large windows. Inside and outside blur together.
Clean lines, paired with a distinct language of form. Underscored by delicate plays of colour. Warm. Cosy. Moving.
Old school blackboards recall what this house once was. Everything else tells the story of what it's become.
Colour & Material
Colour isn't decoration here. It's an attitude.
Reclaimed wood meets natural stone. Light tones draw in the daylight, green accents bring in the meadow. Fabrics you want to touch. Surfaces that grow more beautiful with use.
Nothing shouts. Everything works.
Nine Suites
Plenty of room for a few guests. Views in every direction.
Every suite is cut differently, furnished differently, lit differently. Southeast brings the morning sun. Southwest, the long evening. Northeast, cool clarity and a view across the hills.
Tell us how you'd like to wake up. We'll find the right suite.

Badstube
Nature that connects. The inside with the outside. Purist and pared back. For a maximum sense of wellbeing.
Views from the lounger. Or from the panorama sauna. Out into a mountain landscape that seems to have no end.
Plus a salt steam bath. The crackle of the fireplace. And a massage room where time stops mattering.
Awarded
A lily and 14 out of 20 points from the RELAX Guide. A big compliment for a small Badstube.

Cuisine
Breakfast on a tiered stand. Served at your table, not collected from a buffet.
Bread from a baker who still bakes it himself. Cheese from the neighbourhood. Eggs the way you like them. Fruit that actually tastes like fruit. Coffee, for as long as you'd like.
And time. Above all, time.

We didn't build this house for awards. That they keep coming anyway still makes us happy.
