Pfänder

Up by cable car. A wonderful viewpoint at 1,064 metres, overlooking around 240 Alpine peaks.

Lindau

The historic old town on Lindau island: centuries-old façades, lanes full of stories. At around 70 hectares the island on the eastern shore is the second-largest in Lake Constance, and its winding lanes and medieval houses have a charm many find almost Mediterranean.

With the Abbey of St. Gall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983 and home to one of the oldest and richest libraries in the world.
