Leisure rides & e-bikes
Between the Alps and Lake Constance.
With its rolling hills, meadows and forests between the Alps and Lake Constance, the Westallgau is made for leisurely rides and e-bikes — quiet back roads and farm tracks take you from one viewpoint to the next. The Allgau Cheese Route runs right through Scheidegg, its tours leading you to hay-milk dairies, country inns and local craftspeople.
Downhill, you ride towards Lake Constance, for example on the panorama loop along the Lindau shore (26 km), while the more athletic reach a 2,000-metre summit in about an hour with Bike & Hike in the nearby Bregenzerwald. You can rent an e-bike from Sport Hauber, which has its own station in Scheidegg — daily from 9 am to 4:30 pm, no reservation needed.
Your own bike stays in our lockable bike cellar, where you can also charge your e-bike battery overnight.
